Buying good flower and then struggling with bad equipment is a common and avoidable mistake. We stock the glass, grinders, papers and hardware that make the rest of what we sell work properly, all under one roof on Hammond Street.

Rolling Supplies

Papers, pre-rolled cones, hemp wraps, tips, grinders and trays. Everything needed to roll something that burns evenly.

Vape Hardware

Batteries and chargers for cartridges. Bring your existing battery in if you are unsure whether it fits what we stock.

A Grinder Is the Upgrade Most People Skip

If you buy one accessory, buy a grinder. Breaking flower up by hand produces uneven pieces, compresses the material, and leaves resin on your fingers instead of in what you are smoking. A consistent grind burns evenly, which means the cultivar tastes the way it is supposed to and you waste less of it.

Papers and cones are the next thing worth thinking about. Thinner, less processed papers interfere less with flavour, and cones remove the skill barrier entirely. Our comparison of pre-rolled cones versus papers covers which makes sense for which customer. If you would rather skip the step altogether, our pre-rolls are already done for you.

For anyone using concentrates or live resin, proper tools are not optional. Concentrate is sticky, heat sensitive and wasteful to handle badly. Our guide to handling concentrates explains what you actually need.

Storage Is an Accessory Too

The fastest way to waste money on good cannabis is to store it badly. Terpenes evaporate, and heat, light and air accelerate it. Flower kept in a sealed opaque container in a cool cupboard holds its character for months. The same flower in a plastic bag on a sunny shelf will smell like hay in weeks.

Our guides on storing weed properly, how long cannabis stays fresh and whether weed expires cover this properly. It is the cheapest quality improvement available to most customers.

Choosing Glass That Suits How You Actually Smoke

The most common mistake customers make buying glass is picking the piece that looks most impressive rather than the one matching how they will use it. A large elaborate bong is a poor choice if you smoke small amounts on a weeknight, and a tiny pipe is frustrating if you regularly share with company.

Hand pipes are the practical default. They are cheap, portable, need no water, and suit small amounts. The trade off is a hotter, harsher draw, because nothing cools the smoke between the bowl and your mouth. For customers who smoke a little and often, a decent pipe is usually the right answer.

Water pipes cool and filter the smoke, which makes larger draws considerably more comfortable. They are less portable and they need cleaning, which is the part people underestimate. If you will not clean it, do not buy it, because a neglected water pipe makes good flower taste genuinely unpleasant.

Dab rigs are a different tool for a different job, built for concentrates and live resin rather than flower. If concentrates are not part of your routine, you do not need one. If they are, the temperature control matters more than the glass.

Cleaning Is the Difference Between Good and Bad Glass

A clean piece delivers the flavour of the cultivar you bought. A dirty one delivers the flavour of everything you smoked before it. Resin buildup is not just cosmetic, it actively degrades the taste and restricts airflow, which makes the whole thing pull harder and burn hotter.

Isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt is the traditional method and it works well. The salt acts as an abrasive while the alcohol dissolves the resin. Rinse thoroughly with warm water afterwards and let it dry fully before use. For pieces you use regularly, a quick clean weekly is far easier than an occasional deep one, because fresh resin lifts easily and old resin does not.

Replace screens when they clog rather than fighting them, and keep a spare set on hand. They cost very little and a blocked screen ruins the draw.

The same principle of maintenance applies to your flower. Good storage protects the terpenes you paid for, and clean equipment lets you actually taste them. Doing one without the other is half the job. Our guide to judging cannabis quality covers what those terpenes should smell like in the first place.
