How Far Is Pho King From Milford?

Around fourteen miles and roughly seventeen to twenty one minutes. The quickest way is to cross the Penobscot into Old Town and join Interstate 95 southbound, which runs directly to Bangor with no town traffic in between. Come off at Exit 182B, which serves US Route 2 and Route 100 at Hammond Street and Odlin Road, and we are at 1114.

US Route 2 also runs through Milford and will get you there on surface roads if you prefer, following the river down through the settlements on the east bank. It is a more pleasant drive and a slower one. Route 178 follows the same eastern bank northeast of Bangor if you are coming from further up.

Free parking on site and an accessible entrance. ID checked every visit, no exceptions.

Why Milford Residents Drive Down

Milford is a small riverside town whose daily life is bound up with Old Town across the bridge and Bangor further south. Most shopping happens in one of those two places, and for adult use cannabis the depth of choice is in Bangor.

Twenty minutes down a straight interstate is an easy trip, and it is the same run Old Town customers make. What we offer at the end of it is a properly stocked shop with Maine grown, lab tested product and budtenders who will take the time. For customers combining it with other errands in Bangor, the Hammond Street location keeps you clear of the middle of the city.

We are open seven days a week, which suits a town where a lot of people work shifts.

Milford, the East Bank, and Old Town

Milford’s defining relationship is with the river and with Old Town on the other side of it. The two are close enough that they function as a single community in many practical respects, sharing the crossing and much of the same working history along the Penobscot.

The town sits on the east bank where US Route 2 comes down from the north, with Route 178 tracing the same side of the river. North and east of the settled strip, Milford opens into the working woodland that characterises this part of Penobscot County, and the river itself remains the centre of local recreation.

Because Milford and Old Town operate as a pair, our Old Town page covers a lot of the same ground for anyone crossing the bridge, and Orono is the next stop down the same corridor.

What Milford Customers Buy

Milford customers buy across the board, with the practical lean you would expect from a working town. Pre-rolls and flower lead, indica strains sell strongly for after shift, and vape cartridges suit customers who want something quick and low fuss.

We also see steady interest in concentrates from experienced customers looking for value by weight. If you are newer to any of this, start with our first time guide and our overview of buying good weed, then come and ask at the counter. It is a conversation we have every day.

Milford, the East Bank, and the River Crossing

Milford sits on the east bank of the Penobscot directly across the water from Old Town, about fourteen miles north of our Hammond Street counter. US Route 2 runs through the town and State Route 178 traces the same eastern bank northeast of Bangor, so residents have two usable surface routes before the interstate even enters the picture.

The quickest run is to cross into Old Town and join Interstate 95 southbound at Exit 197, or pick it up at Exit 193 by Orono if you are coming from the southern end of town. From there the interstate carries you into Bangor without a single traffic light, and Exit 182B puts you onto US Route 2 and Route 100 at Hammond Street and Odlin Road. Route 2 south along the river is the slower and more scenic alternative.

Because Milford and Old Town operate as a single community across the bridge, and because Bradley sits just downstream on the same bank, most of our east bank customers are already making this crossing for other errands. If that is you, we are on the Hammond Street side of Bangor, which keeps you clear of the middle of the city entirely. Free parking on site at 1114 Hammond Street, Suite 2, Bangor, Maine 04401.

Further Reading

Worth reading before you cross the river: how to buy good weed, pre-rolled cones versus papers, why some strains are stronger and judging cannabis quality. Our full library covers cannabinoids, strains, edibles, concentrates, storage and dosing, and our budtenders are happy to go over any of it in person at the shop.
