How Far Is Pho King From Levant?

Roughly nine miles and about sixteen minutes. Maine Route 222 is the direct line, running southeast out of Levant into Bangor. From there it is a short connection across to the Hammond Street corridor, where we are at 1114.

Levant sits in the middle of the southern part of Penobscot County, bordered by Corinth to the north, Kenduskeag and Glenburn to the east, Carmel and Hermon to the south and Stetson to the west. Depending which part of town you are in, cutting south to Route 2 through Hermon can be just as quick, and that route brings you in along the same Hammond Street corridor from the west.

Free parking on site and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Have your photo ID ready.

Why Levant Residents Come to Us

Levant has something under three thousand residents and remains genuinely agricultural, which means almost no retail within the town itself. Everyday shopping happens in Bangor, and cannabis is no exception.

The advantage for Levant is simply that we are close. Sixteen minutes is shorter than many people’s commute, and it means you can buy small amounts frequently rather than stocking up. That is generally the better way to buy cannabis anyway, because flower is at its best fresh and the aromatics fade with time in storage.

We are open seven days a week, and for customers who come in regularly we get to know what works for you, which makes each visit quicker than the last.

Levant, Farmland, and the Route 222 Corridor

Levant is one of the quieter towns in the ring around Bangor, and deliberately so. It sits in the middle of the southern section of Penobscot County as a working agricultural community, without the lake frontage that shapes Glenburn or the highway commerce that shapes Hermon.

The town’s population has grown steadily, from around 2,200 at the 2000 census to roughly 2,900 today, largely as people looking for space within commuting distance of Bangor have moved out along Route 222. That road is the town’s link to the city and the route most residents take daily.

Its neighbours tell you the geography. Corinth to the north and Kenduskeag to the east are similar in character, while Hermon to the south sits on the busier Route 2 corridor. Our Hermon page and Glenburn page cover those approaches.

What Levant Customers Buy

Levant customers buy in the pattern you would expect from a town of regular, short trips. Smaller amounts of flower and single pre-rolls rather than bulk purchases.

Indica strains sell well for evenings, topicals are popular with customers doing physical work, and CBD draws those who want the plant without intoxication. If you are working out what suits you, our guides to terpenes and indica versus sativa are a good grounding, and how to judge cannabis quality will help you get more from each visit.
